Default '19 Leaf Spacers

Can someone please tell me the thickness of the factory spacer blocks?

During assembly on the line, are the same blocks inserted into every 4x4 regardless of tire/wheel size and/or optional packages?

And if the spacer blocks were removed (yes - this would let the rear end settle by that amount, but...) would the alignment pins still fit together?

you don’t own a tape measure ? 4WD come with a 1 5/8” block .. just under 2”. 2019 may be different...

I don’t own a truck. I am trying to teach myself about lift kits, axle wrap and traction bars (etc) in preparation for the purchase and subsequent modification.

Teach yourself the correct way... when you install a lift kit .. buy new leaf springs for your desired ride height.. no axle wrap or very little. most lifts come with taller blocks that can create axle warp and when you add the bars that helps. some even stack blocks...

<tips hat> Yes indeed. As you've seen, I have another thread running that has been making googly eyes at this thread - I suspect they'll be hooking up soon.

I need to verify that new leafs are intended to be installed with no spacer blocks, because if so - I'm leaning ever more strongly in that direction.
