Question 04 f150 heritage xl Off-roading mod recommendations

To make a long story short, I'm trying to decide whether or not to mod my current truck for Off-road usage.
I have done some looking around, but it seems the body style of my current truck isn't really great for modification options.
The truck is basically stock as is, except for new struts.

Ideally should I decide to mod my truck, I would want a front bumper with a winch and extra lights.
I'm planning on getting a leveling kit, and some AT/MT hybrid tires, and new wheels. Not sure if I can fit 35" tires with just a leveling kit.
Window tint, fender flares, headlights/taillights and a few other miscellaneous cosmetic changes.

I'm fairly new to the truck modding community and would like some recommendations/advice.

I think you meant 03, as the 04 was a fully redesigned. I think the 03 trucks look great moded for off road. An 03 was my first truck.

you may get alot more replys if you posted this over in that section.

In '04 they sold the Heritage model (same as '97-'03 models) and the redesigned '04 styles. They were both 2004 year trucks.
