Default Vote: September 2018 Truck of the Month!!!!!

Well here goes, got a little free time this evening, so thanks to johnday, I have been nominated.

My truck started off as a XL model with the STX package. From day 1, I had a plan to do several OEM upgrades.

Year: 2017

Model/Trim/Engine: F150 Supercrew XL with STX package and 5.0 Coyote

OEM upgrades include:

Keypad entry
Fender flares painted to match
Steering wheel trim from an XLT
Sideview mirrors from an XLT with turn signals, heat and auto-dim
2018 STX fender badges painted to match
10 way power adjust driver seat (favorite mod so far)
Ford all-weather tray style floormats
Ford wheel well liners
Boxlink system
Trimmed lower valance on bumper
Chopped OEM antenna
Sun visor on driver side from an XLT (has mirror, XL does not)
Ford tailgate damper

Painted bits by mbullock include:

OEM mirror caps
Door handle lever covers
Fender badges (2018 STX)
Tailgate handle

Aftermarket upgrades include:

Katzkin leather interior (including center console lid)
Carpet kit from ACC custom carpets
Borla XR-1 muffler to make that Coyote sing
Black Rhino Thrust wheels
Bilstein shocks on rear
Ford Performance 2" lowering shackles
Hidden black exhaust turn down tip
Black housing headlights
Lamin-X foglight covers
Window tint including straight brow on windshield
Aftermarket remote start kit, uses OEM fob
BuiltRight rear seat release
LED headlights/foglights/reverse/license plate
Ambient light kit includes F150 leds cupholder kit and RGB kit under seats from Type S
Tinted taillights and 3rd brake light
Hidden charging cable in middle console
Numerous Forscan changes

On to the pics, nothing new or fancy, but here they are for the people not familiar with my build thread. Goodluck to all the entries this month as this is going to be one heck of a decision to make. P.S., I will not be voting for my truck as there are already several nominations more worthy of the TOTM title than my truck!

Default 2014 FX4 SCREW Luxury Edition

Fox 2.0 coilovers and rear gas shock. Supreme Suspension 2.5" level (Fox coilovers turned all the way down for slight rake, 1"). Pro Comp long add-a-leaf. Mbrp black exhaust tip. LockPick. Pro Comp AT Sport 35 x 12.5's (with a little trimming). Factory 20s Plasti Dip black (has lasted two years). 1.5" Supreme Suspension wheel spacers (hub centric). Looks and rides better than stock. Wow and thanks Husker! That means a lot coming from you. I am completely flattered and humbly accept your esteemed and coveted nomination.

2016 XL FX4, Coyote V8, RCSB, Shadow Black

My goal was a simple example of a working truck that I use as a first responder which means getting to the job in a hurry in all kinds of weather. I also bird hunt and may go off road to a firing range. I like a RCSB and use the crossover tool box for my long guns. SB's are great in the woods. I wanted it to look like everything I did to the truck could have come from the factory.

I believe it met all my goals because folks actually stop me and ask me if it's some kind of special edition truck from Ford. Thank you for your support and I feel like I'm in some tall cotton here with these other GREAT examples of quality Ford trucks!

Here is a list of my mods:

20" Black Ford Racing Wheels..275/65R20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers..Rough Country 2.5" front level
Westin Contour Bull Bar
Northern (Better Built) crossover tool box
Access Tool Box Tonneau cover
Cravenspeed BMG .50 stubby antenna
4x4TruckLED's back-up bulbs and center brake light cluster and tag lights
Lund 4" Oval Nerf Bars
32% side and rear window tint
Weathertech mats and flaps
Undercover Swing Cases
Lariat leather armrest conversion
Philips Xtream headlight bulbs
Z-Flash emergency lighting module

Thanks again to KillingTime for dragging me over here. Not the competition I would like to go up against, but a good group to be included in:

Truck
2018 F150 Lariat Supercrew
3.5 EB, 3.55, Max Tow
Lighting Blue
Ordered in March 2018, picked up Memorial Day 2018

"Customization"
The goal for me was to get a truck as close to what I wanted right from the get go. The "plan" was to do little modifications, and be happy with a new truck that had "everything" I wanted or needed. The I read a lot of what other, like minded, kind of crazy, a little OCD, people just like me were doing. Still not "done", but who is?

Debadged, as much as possible
Custom fender badges from Billet Badges, painted by MBullock
Custom center wheel vinyl overlays (new ones coming to replace the ones I got because I like change)
Custom floor mat 3D printed logos
OEM SE headlight swap
Tinted fog light overlays
Hardwire dual dashcam with battery pack
Hardwire Uniden R3 radar detector
Vent Gauge
5100s all around
20" Black Rhino Karoo wheels wrapped in Michelin Defenders
Painted Ford ovals
Painted interior trim pieces
Retrax cover
Bedrug with blue power button (it has to be blue, right?)
RV camera connections
Forscan goodness
4 door ceramic tint
Sweet, dual cracks on the tinted windshield. Who else has that pattern cracks on a TOTM nominee?
