Happy new year all! I wanted to throw this out to the general forum audience and see what ideas we can come up with. For a long time now, the prize for winning ToTM has been a $50 gift card to Harbor Freight or $50 to Amazon for those that live outside the contiguous United States where HF won't ship. I am still waiting to hear if the prize dollar cap is still in place, but I want to see how you all would like to see the gift changed. Due to this pandemic that we are in, our merch people won't be in the office for any forseen time period so a gift card/ gift code will need to stay but the VENDOR of that can change. Where would you all like the prize to come from?

 

I like the amazon option.. would be cool to see a partnership with like American trucks or stage 3 motor sports. Maybe they can get involved, and work with the winner on a prize.

When I won in '18, they awarded me a Harbor Freight gift card. I used it to buy a nice floor jack. Happy, happy, happy.

I'm happy with the two options as now. Only thing I'd like to see improved is the time frame that awards are mailed out. I've won twice, and both times it took 6 months plus. TBH, I thought it had been forgotten.

It took 13 months for mine to show up.

 

I wish I had anything to do with that man, I do. That’s out of my hands.

 

I do think the HF gift card is great, as HF has a bunch of useful stuff for the garage and $50 goes a long way there - I won in December and received mine in about a month or 2.

But another cool prize could be something from the store, maybe a sweatshirt!
