I have always been a huge fan of white vehicles. And Larry and Unleashed have two badass white trucks. A two wheel drive truck however would not go half the places I take my truck out hunting here in Nevada. But that doesn't make the mods worthless as, aside from looks, there are benefits to be had such as increasing ground clearance, approach and departure angles etc etc. And it being a modified 2WD certainly doesn't make it any less worthy of TOTM. I would totally vote for Unleashed's truck....But that would mean we would need to have an actual functioning TOTM program on this site

So in conclusion I disagree with you!!!
larry let me just go ahead and say i love your truck, i actually voted for it for truck of the year, if my truck was 4wd i would love for it to look life yours, the stuff you have done to it looks great. second my truck its 2wd so it was made into a street truck, my last few trucks were lifted 4wds and i currently have a 4x4 wrangler and we have a few horses and i hunt so belive me i have been offroad with vehicles hundreds of times. I have only been in the sand at the beach in florida with my old trucks so im not sure how sand compaires to mud. Like i said no disrespect to his truck it really does look good but i just know it would get stuck left and right where i live. I love the way the truck looks it just would not be very practicle for the stuff i go through.

Ya snow is really where it starts to suck having a 2wd rear wheel drive vehicle!

4wd trucks were also sliding from the ice on the road, 2008 f250 Fx4 was sliding with no chains

when your 16years old and you saved up as much money as possible and there is a awesome deal that you cant pass up. 2wd or 4wd doesnt matter at that time......now since im 18 and have much more experience, my next full size truck has to be 4x4 no matter what....i understand what your saying but you also have to understand the situation i was in at the time

Ya but there is still no comparison 4x4 vs 2wd on the snow. Anything will slide in snow if you aren't careful. But 2wd rwd just plain sucks in any bit of snow and ice. I live in Reno NV and we get a LOT of snow.

I know what ya mean, thats the only reason i have the truck i do now, i have always had 4x4 but when this truck came arround and the guy was askin 4000 under blue book for it and he threw in a few mods i couldnt pass it up. I have noticed that they usually group trucks but the style of the trucks for the totm. if they did a lifted 2wd month i would vote for yours with out a second thought. it is in my mind the nicest one in this site that i have seen. Im not tryin to be an ***** and if im comin off that way im not tryin to.

Great Snow pics George. add those to your album.

Your right about the FX4 some times in the snow-ice nothing helps
chains can help more than a 4x4 without chains. a 4x4 is good in about 6 - 10" snow approx.

but check this out in some conditions nothing will help.

Crashed my moms car in Rhode Island one winter. Cops came. Officer got out of car, fell on his butt and couldn't stand up. Road conditions were to blame.
