It wouldn't appear that the whole "can't nominate yourself" approach is working out all that well.

That's because nominations are becoming less based on the uniqueness, creativity, and functionality of the trucks here and more on, "Hey, that's my buddy" or "I like this football team." So people with awesome, well thought out rides, like LoveTheTide, aren't getting nominations. Soon we'll be nominating stock trucks.
