Model/Trim/Engine: F-150 XL 4.6 V8 Mods/Custom Work: just blacked out the wheels and grille, color matched badges/handles, and added a lower 2 tone (some of the pictures show the truck before these changes were made) My faithful old workhorse, just a basic '04 XL withe 120K on the clock. definitely not afraid to scratch the bed liner.... she's bottomed out on gravel and concrete countless times, hauled crumbling dusty bricks, scrap metal and other recycling, road salt and more inside the cab, but here's the pictures i still have, some of the nicer shots from her glory days - hauling firewood (a favorite pastime of mine), one of my boats, helping an uncle move, and a dump run. Might as well put mine in here.
1995 f150 centurion 5.8l 4x4 Started life as a single cab truck and was converted into a crew cab by centurion. Mods: Custom led headlights, custom led tail lights, custom grille, custom hood, 2015 f150 front bumper, custom rear bumper, monster hook, 22x10 rims, 2016 f150 fender flares, custom painted cab light, Lund backdraft, 2014 f150 center console, custom switch pod in headliner, black wood grain wrapped interior trim, a bunch of ptm and blacked out pieces, toolbox full of everything to get a days work completed and of course a b&w gooseneck hitch. Just because it's used for farm work doesn't mean it can't look good doing it. Most recant Attachment 482824 Added more pics as requested I know some aren't doing work truck things so delete if necessary. This truck changes so much in appearance that no two pictures it looks the same. Attachment 482825 Attachment 482826 Out running fences. Attachment 482827 What it looked like before winter and it's makeover. Attachment 482828 And even older photos. Dragging trailers in 12"+ of snow Attachment 482829 Attachment 482830 |

https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.f15...cefbfe3730.jpgI'll be selling this truck in the near future, so she's not exactly packed for a road trip.
https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.f15...045adaa54d.jpgEven w the ladder rack, she fits in a 7'0" parking garage. And the glass in the rear doors is incredibly helpful when backing up. I had a truck w a tailgate once and will never go back, double doors are the best! https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.f15...09ce854178.jpgWindow door opens for side access and provides that all important over the shoulder view out the back. https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.f15...5272c22d0a.jpgSide tool box is a dream and still i have room to travel w a mountain bike:) |

Oh why not.
1990 Xlt lariat Pride of central Louisiana? Probably not. New engine Rebuilt trans/transfer case Rebuilt rear axle Awaiting parts to rebuild the front It's not the prettiest but it does everything I need it to and has never left me stranded. |
May 2017 Truck of the Month!
Some very nice machines were nominated this month but I narrowed it down to the ones that I felt embodied the term "work truck" the best. If you don't see your truck, nominate yourself next month!
@Rod Wise @nfldfordman @smcox1 @dirtyfingers @Snaggletooth Going forward, I'll try to keep the voted upon contestant pool to about 4-5 max per month. Vote on and good luck! |
I wish I could see more of this truck. What I can see intrigues me and makes meant to see more. Guess its time to stalk their profile for more pictures. |
Come on newf...as Adam Sandlers side kick would say...You can do it!
