Default June 2012 Truck of the Month!!!!

It's time to nominate my truck, it's came a long way since i got it and im still not done! For a 18 year old, whos done everything to it on his own i think its a pretty badass truck

Year: 1996

Model:f150 supercab eddie bauer short bed

Milage:194xxx

Options:power windows, locks, lumbar seats, factory tinted back windows

Mods/Custom Work: 8" skyjacker lift, 15x10 eagle alloy rims, 37x12.50 superswamper trXus mt's, 5% tint, no cats, flowmaster 40's 45'd out the rear, custom bumper in the works

Description: I got this truck when i was 16 from a guy who barely lifted it and put the tires on it but then he broke his back and it hurt him to much to drive it everyday, so i bought it with 160xxx miles, it has a 5.8 v8 with an automatic, it had a 6" roughcountry lift and 35" buckshot mudders when i first got it, i drove it like that for about a year, then i bought my 8" coils and my 37's. I put clear headlights in, with sylvania bright lights on it, and some smoked tail lights on it with l.e.d bulbs in it, need to finish my bumper and hopefully when i move to az in august i'll get it painted!

the day i bought it:

Look at all that flex!! in the wrong places!!

Got my new taillights

Year:1997

Model:F250 HD Extended cab long bed.

Milage:122,472

Options:XLT

Mods/Custom Work:Technically nothing yet, i havnt owned it long enough to put the stuff on, you can see a list of add ons i have for it in my garage link under "Exterior" only thing iv done is install fog lights in my bumper.

Description:big mean and power to spare.

Why did you Nominate this truck:i wrecked my f150 and never got it to the point i wanted it, so im going to be pouring everything i can into this truck ASAP to get it done, i want to see where it stands before i start putting things onto it, i personally think its one of the cleanest 97s iv ever seen.

Description: I built this truck after deciding that my 89 bronco I had recently wrecked would be to long of a process to rebuild and I had just recieved an offer to get this truck for free in return for some work on a family members ranger. When I got the truck it was 2 wheel drive and had some rot. In a matter of 4 month's I had the truck on the road, 4x4 and ready to see the dirt. I'm still building it and have big plans for it.

Why did you Nominate this truck: I nominated my truck because of all the work I have done to it and how meaningful this build has been to me.

Why did you Nominate this truck: It's its own classic, kept as clean as can be. I've put a lot of work into this truck, and spent a lot of time in, under, and on it. Bought it Senior year of high school and plan on keeping it for many years to come. Some mods may come and go, but I will do my best to keep it in tip-top shape. Hoping you all will appreciate it as much as I do.

Garage Link: Haven't updated that info in years.
