Ok... over the last week or so, we've had over 200 new members join the site. Each one has had a different email address and I have not noticed anything abnormal about the email addresses themselves (many the same host, etc.). I'll look into whose voted and things of that nature. Be advised: there's nothing in the rules that says you can't have buddies sign up to vote on your truck. That said, if this is the case with this month, its ALOT of effort to go thru for a reletively prizeless victory.

I'll investigate but don't hold your breath.

Yes actually it is kind of surprising. No disrespect towards him or his truck (I personally really like it, and I love that body style) but people tend to vote more for the newer model trucks that are more spiffed and shined up. Like I said I've been around the block for quite a while and I see how things typically work. Like I said, it was just a bit of a red flag when he got so many votes in such a short time frame when it was such a close race before. Again, just my observation. I'd hate for others to get screwed because someone decided to cheat the system. Its happened before and its a bummer deal. Not trying to ruffle any feathers, just observing and thought to myself "hmmm, thats a bit off"

all with different IP addresses? I'm not against someone having their friends sign up to vote, but I am against someone making fake accounts to cheat the system.

I know what y'all mean. I was winning RIGHT before the polls closed a couple months back and all of a sudden the guy in second got enough votes to pass me by one. It was kind of a bummer and I'm not sayin he did this but it seemed that way. Also if the polls closed at 12 like they should have then I could have won. It didn't close till 10 the next morning. I'm not complaining about not winning but there are some things that should be fixed to make it as fair as possible

so it seems people think that i am cheating becaue my rig i so far ahead of the rest. the only thing i did (after checking the rules) was post in the 87-96 area of the fourm that my truck was selected and asked the guys there for some support. but rather than waste the mods time and hurt peoples feelings i would like the mods to pull my truck for the truck of the month contest. i have been on this forum or a while and never even knew there was a contest except for a wrong mouse click scrolling to our 87-96section wich most of us in there do. and for people to think i would spend time to make a bunch of email adresses to win a t-shirt is outrageous and funny at the same time. so you plastic trucks have your fun and for now on ill stick to our section of the forum where we are all friends and helpful to each other. and to be honest i never even expexted to be nominated for this. so id like to leave you to it and yall have a good one

I looked into this and it appears everything looks legit. I looked at each person who voted for each truck.

Fordtrucknut- if you decide you really do want to remove your truck from the contest, pm me and I will do so. Until then, your nomination stands and the voting continues.

If he is man of his word, then ignore everything he just said and let this competition run out, I am not going to cry over losing.

Calling my truck plastic on the other hand is a whole lot different, my truck has been in every condition (sand/snow/mud) been stuck up to the windows and seen about as much off road time as yours, just because i cleaned my truck up and have no need to bash it any more dont mean it wont yank you out of any condition.

Its ok FTN. Whether you actually pull your truck or not, to the 8th/9th gen sub-forum you're the clear winner.
