Working up in Grande Prairie... Looking for 275/70/18 (~33 diameter overall) Winter Tire or a Tire that does Ice and Snow well but less Aggressive and Quieter than my Current Duratracs...
Clocking around 8000km a month on average on my poor 2013 FX4 (80Highway/20LeaseRoad).... So KM/L, Noise, Comfort and Capability are all Important.

I've seen the speed wobble youtube videos on Silent Armour and I just straight up don't have time to deal with bad tires.

Anyone know if I'm going to pooch a pair of winter tires on snowy/ice/gravel Lease Roads?

How are the Duratracs in the winter? I'm not worried about ride quality or noise just traction on ice and snow.

I drove Dec - Spring this year and they were fine. Blizzards on the way to NWT, lease roads, paved roads, you name it i was on it this winter. They performed ok, and they can be studded if you are looking for additional traction.

with the amount of driving I do i think i want a dedicated winter personally, just on the road too much and I want a quieter ride (less fatigue).
