i am buying the nitto terra grappler 295/17r17 tires for my truck, and am planning to run the mickey thompson side biters (17x9 - 6x135) and if i get a flat i am going to need a spare. the factory spare is about 30 inches and the new tires are about 33.25 inches tall. this wouldnt work at all. my question is would that tire fit on the factory rims to use as a spare to throw in the bed. any help will be great. looking to order tonight or tomorrow.

Absolutly. Especialy as a spare it won't be a problem at all.

The 295's will fit easily on the stock wheel's. A lot of people ran 315's on the stocker's with no problem's.

They fit fine. I have the exact same tire on my 07 with 17" steelies.
