Default Wheel Size / MPG Questions

Sorry if this has been answered here before but could not find it.
I have the stock Lariat Wheels I believe 265/60/18? I wanted to get a bigger rim down the road.
I know Ford offers the 20" rim upgrade. So...

When they do that do they keep the same tire size?
Does that effect the MPG at all because they advertise it as the same MPG on either wheel package?
If I want to go with a bigger rim (say a 22") but reduce my tire to a lower profile will I be able to keep the same MPG by compensating for total height or is it based off weight only?

If you go from 18” wheel to 20” wheels you will have more wheel in the middle of your rubber.. less rubber.. same size tires. Bigger wheels will not effect your MPG.. bigger tires will.
