Seeking tire recomendations.
I primarily have my truck for one reason: To drive to my ranch and back home, hauling things both ways. One way, it is 90 miles of highway driving and 6 on an unmaintained road that is rough, rocky....and muddy with three creek crossings in the spring and up to 12" of snow on my later trips.
So it's important to me that I have good tires for the 12 miles off pavement section...but at the same time, it is 180 miles of pavement. Something not having excessive road noise would be nice...and something that wouldn't cause me to burn a lot of extra gas.
Any recommendations?

BFG AT.... I have been using them over 20 years on two different vehicles I own and have no complaints.

OK, look where I live, I know what snow is. I've got a set of BFG KO2's, on one truck, and a set of DuraTracs on the other. When the BFG's are gone, they'll be replaced with DuraTracs, best bloody tires I've ever had in the snow, not really noisy at all, wear well, zero problem.

I have a 2015 Lariat that I use as a daily driver sometimes off road, and I tow a 7,000lbs travel trailer I like the look of the BFG KO2's but my question is, are they load rated high enuff for towing? I have Hellwig helper springs and a nice equil i zer hitch. Any suggestions?
