Default Tires and Bilstein 5100 Adjustable Shocks

I have a 2009 F-150 King Ranch 4WD. I just ordered Bilstein 5100 shocks for all 4 corners. From my research I should use the highest or next to highest setting to get my truck level. I have the stock 18" wheels. I'm considering Nitto Terra Grapplers. My question is on the size. I want good fill with absolutely no rub. The 275/70r18 measure 33.27"x10.94" according to Nitto's website. The 295/70r18 measure 34.41"x11.77". Does anyone have a similar set up or any insight into what size would be best?
I have done a lot of research and have seen a lot of good info on forums, but none with my exact year model, shock, and tire brand combo. I'm sure its here somewhere.

Go with the highest setting on the 5100's and go with the 295/70's

I appreciate the nod. Do you have experience with this set up? I really fear the rub. My friend has a 2007 Lariat with a 3" lift, not sure on tire size, but his tires rub to death. Not what I want for my truck.

There is no 3" lift that I know of...does he have aftermarket wheels ?? and if your gonna use your stock wheels you will not rub... 11.7 wide you will be nowhere close to your UCA and 34.5 will clear everything else with the billy's set to the highest level...don't forget an Alignment after the 5100 install.

I've got a shop that will do the Bilsteins, mount and balance tires and do alignment. I appreciate the insight.

A local tire shop told me the 295/70r18 would rub. I want to hear from someone here with the Bilstein 5100s. Anyone?

If anyone has pics of a set up like I'm describing feel free to give me a preview.

I just had my bilstein's installed on Thursday on the highest setting. I actually told my wife the cost of install was double what it actually was thinking I may have to take the truck back to have them dropped down a notch. I read too many people complaining. ("Dump truck...", "Hated it after 5 minutes...", etc.) Honestly, I don't understand that at all. I think the truck rides great, and I live in northern Illinois where there are plenty of potholes and train tracks. I tried to find a road that would help me understand all the negativity....couldn't do it.

I'm getting the same tires....no fear about rub. I'm more concerned about the weight of the tire...

There are several running that setup on this forum without problem. The 4x4 shop I went to said they've done it without problems. But I know I'm only offering secondhand info.

See post #17...and send him a message if you have questions.
