Default Tire Fitment Question

I'm shopping around for new wheels and ran into something I haven't thought about. I'm currently running General AT2 265/70/18 on my OEM wheels. From looking around, I've found that these wheels are 18x7.5". What I was wonder was, will these tires fit on an 18x8.5" wheel? Thanks in advance

Yes, just won't look as "beefy". Good chance you'll cause a little curb rash on the rim rather than scrape the tire when getting too close to the curb.

For that size tire, the 'recommended' wheel width is generally anywhere from 7-9 inches(although it can vary between manufacturers), and you're obviously well within that
You are perfectly fine. You won't be any more likely to 'rash' your wheels than you would with your stock wheels, and your tires won't look any less 'beefy'. The wider wheel will actually make the tire look wider.
