Both of them wheels are actually high on my list that I've been looking at. Especially the moto metals. Oit of them tire choices the ko2 or nittos would be my choice.

I'd do 17" rims with 285/70r17 or 255/80r17 tires.

Thank You. Interesting, there's quite a difference in those tires yes? What would they achieve?

255s are gonna be pretty skinny for a 9 inch wide wheel.

Hey Mac, OK so I looked around a bunch and I think I need to get my price down some, it just doesn't make sense to spend what seems to be around $2,300.00 - $2,600.00 in wheels and tires for this particular truck. I'd do it on a newer one but not this one. Obviously prices drop based on tire brands etc. Does it drop if I change sizes somehow and yet get the same effect? Like if I went to a 17" rim, what tire size would I need then? (in this format please, lol ???/??/R17 Thanks

https://tiresize.com/converter/

This is what I've been using to figure out dimensions of tires I'm looking at
295/70/17 would work well for you

That's pretty close to the max height you can do w/o a level kit and staying with a 17" wheel which gives me max sidewall height.

If you wanna stay with 18's on factory wheels you could get a taller tire to do that and save some dough. Something like a 275/70R18.

I do have a 2.5" leveling kit. I still don't know what to get but I have decided to stick with an 18" wheel. (I'm getting there, lol)

Is this really an AT tire? Cooper Discoverer STT Pro All-Terrain Radial Tire.
It seems more like a Mud, is it any good or forget it?
