If you are going to buy your tires online, you should go check out discounttires.com, there prices are ridiculously competitive. They are running 25% off shipping right now.

As for the tires, I just got the nitto trail grapplers and love them. They make a lil noise and hurt the gas milage due to their weight but thats all expected. If those things don't bother you then the trails should be your top choice.

If you didnt want to go with a real rugged looking tire I would look at the nitto terra grapplers. A buddy of mine just got them for his truck and he says they ride great. Discounttires.com is running them as low as $183/tire.

Good luck on the decision making process, it took awhile for me to choose. And post some pics when your done.

A buddy of mine that just got a '10 Raptor that has BFG TA KO's on it and I am not too impressed with them. The ride is nice but the look just doesnt cut it for me (the plain sidewall is just too boring for me). I would get the terras, a much better looking tire and in the same class with the BFG's.
