the discoverer STT LT

in 285/70/17 217$ a tire

in 295/70/17 265$ a tire

very aggressive looking any thoughts?
These are a cross between a standard AT and something like the Trail Grappler.

I have the trails and they look great, but are loud and suck up gas. I'm putting Terra Grapplers on my stock rims for winter. I think the Coopers would be a good compromise between the Terra and Trail as far as performance goes. They look nice too.

Cooper stt's are mud tires from my understanding. Not sure what kinda mileage you are gonna get out of the stt's but they are a very aggressive looking tire. I was originally gonna get me a set of those but I live in an area with ice and snow and i read reviews on how they are like skates on ice.

thats weird i read a few where it said they were great in snow (ice is obviously different lol)

Most of the reviews said they were surprisingly quiet and smooth... supposed to be kinda a hybrid between mt and at i guess.

The old lady wants to get me the procomp 6005s for christmas so the wheels are in.. I just need to decide on a tire

If your going with A/T's, get BFG's. Their A/T tires are so sweet (and sexy, no homo). Besides the fact their tread is sick, they probably around 50,000 miles tires, or above.

Oh I have no doubt they are great in snow as long as it's not packed snow. I wish my old lady could buy me tires but that's definitely not happening... Lol. So many decisions to make when buying tires ~arrgh~ my duratrac's are on back order but still questioning if I made the right decision

The bfg's were the other tires I'm trying to decide on. For the kind of money I'm spending on tires I'm thinking it over several times before I buy

BFG TA KO's are the best AT's I've ever had. I'm on my 5th set averaging 50-60,000 miles a set. I've never had any problems with these tires not even had 1 flat on any of them.
