Default Looking for the right tires

So I'll be on the market for some new tires here shortly. I have a 10 lariat 2WD, got the 265/70/18 if I remember right (don't feel like going out to look right now.) I'm wanting an aggressive looking tire, but I don't want to be the guy with a 2WD acting like it's 4x4. Any suggestions on what tires and how big I can go with stock suspension and wheels?

With stock wheels you should be able to fit a 275/70R18 comes in at 33.2" tall.

The Cooper ATP like suggested above is a great tire. I also like the Goodyear DuraTrac and the Cooper STT Tek3 but it's going be a M/T and it sounds like you are looking for an A/T. BFG AT, Nitto Terra Grappler, and Toyo Open Country AT2 are also more common choices.

Hope that helps!

I am also looking for the right tires to replace my 2011 super crew, Currently I have Michelin LTX A/S 265 60R18, a local aftermarket shop has 4 new LTX M/S2 265 70R18s that some one replace with a custom tire and wheels. Any adverse effects with changing size? Mileage, steering, powertrain, noise, ride, void the warranty, etc?

thanks
jpk

Shouldn't cause any adverse effects. Your speedometer will be off by a little but however.
