I just put 33.1" tires on my truck with a 2.5 lift kit. I really wish I put 34-35" tires instead. It looks good but when I park next to trucks with 35" tires they just look so much better. I would recommend getting closer to 35".

Depending on your offset 35's might not fit. I think you'll be fine to run 35's though. You'll hit the crash bars but you can swap them from driver to passenger, or spread them with a hydraulic spreader.

Yea that's the plan, but I plan on removing the crash bars so I might just have them removed .. After all it is just another added feature for extra safety.., but that's just my opinion .. I've went head on in my other truck and didn't have crash bars and my suspension held up, tires didn't cave in at all, depends on the incident thoo..

If you haven't watched this video, I encourage you watch it before cutting the bars out. You're welcome to do what you want obviously, but I would strongly advise against removing the bars.

That whole video consists of accidents that happen everyday, ask yourself this, if they were so important why are they only on what2-3 of their models the most!? They even kept them off the 16s? It's not like myself and others are deciding to remove this feature that's on every car out there, now if I was trying to remove a seat belt then yea definitely I'd agree, but if it's not on all models theirs a reason behind it, it's just a "added feature" just like airbags once were

Not trying to argue, just making sure you see everything before removing them.

However, your statement "it's just a "added feature" just like airbags once were", just because they're not on everything right now, doesn't mean they aren't useful or that they won't be on everything eventually. It takes time to implement safety features.

I've got 295/60/20's (basically 34") and a 1.75" level. Mine have never rubbed.

I would recommend finding something in between 33 -35

I forgot to mention, I never touched crash bars etc.

I am a fan of 33's on leveled trucks. My 33's rub a tiny bit at full lock on the mud flaps. But, I have after market wheels. Also, the larger the tire, the more your speedo is off (easy enough to correct) and the more power you lose with heavy tires and loss in gearing (especially if you have 3.55's or less). Here are a couple pics of my truck with 275/60/20's.
