How's the ride being that they are 12-ply? I got to make a decision here pretty quick on either these or the 295 65 r20 to stay with a 10-ply.

I love it. I think they feel great.

What's the minimum lift to guarantee no rubbing on stock rims with these 34"s?

Thanks
I joined this forum to find out the answer to that, lol. I just bought a 16 King Ranch and I have a Fox 2.0 set in the garage and I need to know how big of a tire I can use without cutting.

Did you ever find the answer?

On the stock wheels you can run a 35x11.5 with 1-2" of lift without any trimming.

Im running 275x65r20 (34.1 by 11) on a 1" leveling kit and stock rims. I have 1.25inches of clearance to the crash bars at the tightest point .

I was looking for a 35, and had previously purchased 295/60R20 and 295/65R20 as I didn't really want a super wide tire. That's when I noticed the Ridge Grappler came in a 35x11.5R20! Perfect size for a half ton truck. I also decided to stay with a 20x9 wheel because most 20x10's stick out more than I like with more aggressive offsets.

So here is my setup, 20x9 0 offset Moto Metal MO970, with Ridge Grappler 35x11.5R20. After having them installed I must say, these are the best tire for the F150 or other half tons. Aggressive looks, nice sidewall, and in my opinion they are more quiet than Terra Grappler G2, and much much quieter than Trail Grappler. The installer at Discount Tire said they were the easiest off-road tire he has balanced before, and worked his way through all 4 with no problems. If you are considering the Ridge Grappler, or a mix between mud and all terrain but don't want the noise, I would HIGHLY recommend the Ridge Grappler. The only variable left to be determined is how many miles they last, but so far my favorite tire that I've owned.
Absolutely gorgeous rig! What leveling kit did you use? Also do you have any rubbing issues? Thanks

This has been an interesting thread to read. Some great info and pics.

I'm going to be purchasing a 2018 Platinum 4x2 to replace my 2010. I'll most likely be getting the 3.5 EB with 3.55 rear end. One thing I've have read in this thread is performance. I'll probably leaving the stock 20x8 +44 wheels, but will upgrade to a 34" tire, probably the Nitto Terra Grappler G2 or the Ridge.

For you folks that have done something similar, have you noticed a performance hit running a tire this size with 3.55 gears? What have you done about a speedometer calibration?

Thanks

I'm running 34.1" tires on a 2015 5.0 with 3.55 gears and I didn't even notice a difference.
Same thing with my 2011 3.5 EB and 35's.

As far as the speedo when you go up 2" in tire size it's only off 6% 100km/h=106km/h (in Murcia 60 mp/h=63.75mp/h).
Note worth spending money to fix a very minor difference in my opinion.

Also to note they run 1-2 mph slow from factory for your typical car/truck (for when the tires wear down).

I've got about 6k on mine and they still look like new.

Sorry if this reply is a little late info but I've got the 295/60/20 on 20x9's +20 offset and I do not rub at all with bilsteins set at 1.75, no cutting no rubbing no pushing etc
