I have had several different tires over the years. BFG Mud and AT, Nitto Terra Grappler, Terra Grappler G2, and Trail Grappler. When I said the first pictures of the new Ridge Grappler I was very impressed, they looked perfect. I was finally able to snag some yesterday. I was looking for a 35, and had previously purchased 295/60R20 and 295/65R20 as I didn't really want a super wide tire. That's when I noticed the Ridge Grappler came in a 35x11.5R20! Perfect size for a half ton truck. I also decided to stay with a 20x9 wheel because most 20x10's stick out more than I like with more aggressive offsets.
So here is my setup, 20x9 0 offset Moto Metal MO970, with Ridge Grappler 35x11.5R20. After having them installed I must say, these are the best tire for the F150 or other half tons. Aggressive looks, nice sidewall, and in my opinion they are more quiet than Terra Grappler G2, and much much quieter than Trail Grappler. The installer at Discount Tire said they were the easiest off-road tire he has balanced before, and worked his way through all 4 with no problems. If you are considering the Ridge Grappler, or a mix between mud and all terrain but don't want the noise, I would HIGHLY recommend the Ridge Grappler. The only variable left to be determined is how many miles they last, but so far my favorite tire that I've owned.

This has been an interesting thread to read. Some great info and pics.
I'm going to be purchasing a 2018 Platinum 4x2 to replace my 2010. I'll most likely be getting the 3.5 EB with 3.55 rear end. One thing I've have read in this thread is performance. I'll probably leaving the stock 20x8 +44 wheels, but will upgrade to a 34" tire, probably the Nitto Terra Grappler G2 or the Ridge.
For you folks that have done something similar, have you noticed a performance hit running a tire this size with 3.55 gears? What have you done about a speedometer calibration?
Thanks

Same thing with my 2011 3.5 EB and 35's.
As far as the speedo when you go up 2" in tire size it's only off 6% 100km/h=106km/h (in Murcia 60 mp/h=63.75mp/h).
Note worth spending money to fix a very minor difference in my opinion.
Also to note they run 1-2 mph slow from factory for your typical car/truck (for when the tires wear down).

Sorry if this reply is a little late info but I've got the 295/60/20 on 20x9's +20 offset and I do not rub at all with bilsteins set at 1.75, no cutting no rubbing no pushing etc
