Tires start rubbing when you add offset.
With your wheels having +1 offset that means that you have 43mm (1.692") more offset (setting your rim farther out from the hub)
Tires cause rubbing to but people just forget to consider offset.

Just as a reference I have 275x65r20 (34.2x11.1r20) with a 2" Daystar Leveling kit (only actually netted 1" of lift) and factory rims.
I clear them easily with 1.25" of clearance to the rear crash bar at full lock.
Nice looking truck!! Bumper envy too!!

I'm trying to figure out my wheel/tire set up. I've researching this for days..
I've seen some contradicting info on other threads. Hoping I can use you (or anyone else) as a resource.

Do you know if 35x11.5x20 (34.76x11.42) Ridge Grapplers will clear crash bars with a 2" RC level (or FOX 2" if they can produce them this week) on stock 20x8.5" 0 offset wheels? My truck is 17 4x4 fx4 sport (se) scab

These tires are damn close in size to the 275x65r20 (34.2x11.1r20) you're running. Plus I'm expecting a full 2" level up front vs your 1"

Where you see 1.25" crash bar clearance at full lock, I'm hoping the 35's will clear too. Its a difference of .670" on the OD and .440" on width. Based off of my calculations they might clear, especially if consider the differences as radial dimensions.

Thanks in advance, Appreciated.

FIRST PHOTO: shows the math of the 34.76"X11.42" (35"x11.5") vs. 34.2"x11.1" (275x65r20) tires compared in height and width.

Also comparing the 0mm on 8.5" offset vs. Stock 44mm on 8.5" with the * to indicate the difference.

SECOND PHOTO: Truck at full lock. Combo square is 1" wide for reference, about 1.25" clearance to the rear crash bar.

THIRD PHOTO: Truck at 3/4 lock. Combo square is 1" wide for reference, about 1.4" clearance to the mud flap.

Hope that answers your questions.

Nice!!! Thanks, that was very kind of you. It looks like it would clear w the 35's no problem.

Just need to decide between 275x65's 295x60's or the 35's. The 35's caught my eye cause they're between the 275's and the 295's.

I'm leaning towards the LT's because of the extra weight/ply etc on the 35's at the moment.

I have about .750 clearance between the back of my tire and the UCA with my stock set up now.

Tire height isn't a big deal it's the offset that kills you.
If you look at the bottom of my drawing the tire size difference doesn't change much but the offset really moved the tire

35" by 11.5" will clear stock easily and on +18 it'll just clear without trimming.
To get a 0mm offset you will probably need to remove the front crash bar and trim the mud flap and rear crash bar.

I'm adding coilover set at 2.5" true lift (my 2" levelling kit only netted 1" of true lift) and Moto Metal Mo970's in a 0mm offset with either of the bellow.

I was looking at the 295x60r20 Ridge Grapplers cause they measure 33.94 by 11.77
Or the 295x60r20 Trail Grapplers at 34.45 by 12.13

I decided to go with BFG's so I ordered some 35x12.50x20 KO2's today. Hope I don't regret not getting the ridge grapplers now

With the 11.5" tire and the 0 offset, how much are the tires sticking out from the fender? I'm trying to determine which spacer to use to get the outside of the tire flush with the top of the fender.

I'm also curious of this but measured from the top of the fender using a level.

I don't have the Ridge Grappler or 35s, but I had the Exo Grappler in 295/55r20 installed yesterday. These are 33" by 12.2" or so. The wheels are Moto Metal 970 20x9 with the 18 offset. They just barely crest the wheel well. But I do have the sport package with the factory fender flares.

How far are your 275/65 duratracs recessed from the top of the fender?

On my 2011 factory +44mm 20 x 8.5" rims and the factory lariat small fender flares they are:

DF- 7/8"
DR- 1 5/16"
PF- 7/8"
PR-1"

Measuring from the outside of the factory fender flare at the top to the sidewall of the tire.
