Default Maximum Wheel Size on Stock 2006 F150

I love my truck. I have replaced the carpet, fuel injectors, spark plugs, ignition coils, installed H&M air intake, spider headlights/tail lights. Now I want new wheels and tires. I want to go as big as possible without having a lift. I heard my tires can go P290 50R22 and the wheels 22x10 +18 offset. Does this make sense to anyone?

Thanks!

Thats a 33.5" tall tire. You will have to level if you are 2wd and it would be a good idea to level if you have 4wd.

She is 4x4 and i leveled her when i bought her off the showroom floor. Im bouncing back and forth on lifting her more with a 4" but thats another $1,800. I was thinking about getting the max wheels and tires now and then lifting later. Thoughts?

What size exactly are you wanting? And keep in mind with 22s you will be paying ridiculously higher prices for tires, let alone the rims.

I would be happy with 20's. I also like a wide tire that stick out a little.

I'd check out a 20x9 with a 0mm offset and a 295/70. You might even be able to go 305s. That should give you the look you want.

A 295/70 is huge on a 20" rim, at 36" tall. A 305/55/20 witha 20x9 with 0 offset or -12 offset will give you what you want.

Touche. I always forget the conversions are different based on rim size and stuff. I wish all tires were just labeled as the High Flotation sizes, rather than metric. haha
