I have heard terrible wet and snow reviews on the Terra Grapplers. I messaged Nitto and they said the Ridge Grappler is better on snow.

Not so sure about those rumors. I am using a new set of Terra Grappler G2's and like them in the slop here in SE WI. And that's on a 2wd. They aren't much for starting traction but rolling is much better than the OEM's I had, and some deeper lugged AT's, yea not as good as a deep lugged trail tire but there best was starting. They have better cornering and stopping traction than I thought they would. Hardly " terrible wet and snow ", these are far from the first set of truck tires I have bought. KM

What size tires were those on your truck? I have a completely stock version of this. And want to keep the stock rims but don't know what size tires to get. what are these and did you do any trimming or is there any rubbing?

I have the same truck with a 2" lift in the front. Stock 18 x 7.5 rims. The 285's fit ok and do not rub? Do you have a wheel spacer also? I am concerned about going higher than 275x70x18 for fitment. Since you have had them since February, I would like to know your thoughts on ride and performance.

A 285/75r18 fits the stock sport rims. Look at my pick above. I saw a thread where someone ran this size tire on a non leveled truck. It didn’t look good IMO. Looked too stuffed. But It’s your truck not mine. If your trying to stuff this tire on a 2WD, it probably won’t work. My truck is 4x4 and had a 2.5” level, with NO spacers at all. I had no rubbing. Whatever tire you go with check the manufacturers website. They’ll usually have the real tire specs so you can know the space the tire will actually need. For example: a lot of 35s are only 34.5. I didn’t keep this set up long so I can give any advice on longevity. I ended up going with a 6” lift and 35s
