Finally picked my combo, should work right?
2006 Xlt Supercrew 4x4
Going to install 2" AS level 305/60/18 Xd Spy or Badlands in 18x8.5 +18 offset just a tad shy of 5.5 backspacing All my research says this should work with no rubbing, just wanting some confirmations. Thanks in advance, Josh |
You may need to do some minor trimming of the fender liner in the front at full steering wheel lock but it may depend on the actual tire you choose. Tires are like shoes, some run large some run small.

You may even be able to go to a little larger tire if it's an all terrain. A 305x65x18 or a 325x60x18 but more chances of rubbing may occur.

Well I got everything put on today. A little bit of a change from above but not much.
2.5 Autosprings 305 60 18 Nitto Terra Grappler 18 x 9 Incubus Crushers in chrome +12 offset 5.47 backspacing I couldn't be happier, looks awesome and no rub what so ever. Will post pics tomorrow or Thursday. Thanks, Josh |

Not sure why anyone would think that tire and rim combo would rub, thats a 32.5 inch tire on a 4wd with a leveling kit. I know a couple of guys that both run 325/60/18's with no rubbing at all.

Sorry fellas I took some pics but I can't get them on here for anything. Tried adding them to this topic said upload failed. Tried adding them to a new album under my profile said upload failed.
Help anyone? Could email somebody the pics and let them try. The pictures are probably too big. I just uploaded some pictures of my new tires. I had to resize my pictures to 800x600. I then clicked the little paper clip icon above and browsed to the pictures on my computer and uploaded each one. After that, you just click on the arrow next to the paper clip icon above and you'll see the images that you uploaded, then you can select all of them and insert them into your post at your cursor location. I used the program IrfanView to resize my pictures on my computer. It's a great utility for working with pictures and it's free. Just google it and you'll find it.
