Either is a good tire. If you can get those for that price, then go for it. I don't think you'll be disappointed or wondering if you should have paid a little more for the Falken's. Although, I am surprised that they are that much. I guess it's the size? Mine were $164 each.

These are the 275/60R20, which is 33.1" diameter. So far they have been silent, smooth and very good tire. Plus the $516.00 shipped to my door from Discount Tire helped a lot.

Those of you running 275/60R20, from what I read they are 1.1 inch taller and 5-7 lbs. heavier (depending on website) than the stock Goodyear.

Did you notice much difference in MPG? I know the miles driven is off a little but more concerned about the weight.

Are they much thinner than other comparable tires? Usually 33” tires are 10-11.5” wide. But I’m looking at these in the size you guys have it they are about 8.5” and in 285/70/17 (the size I want) they are 9.5” wide. Any of you guys with them notice this?

The 10-11.5" numbers you are referencing is the sectional width of the tire (widest section of the tire mounted on the rim). The Wildpeak A/T3 285/70/17 SL has a tread measurement width of 9.2". Sectional width is 11.6" mounted on a 8.5" rim. Most people tend to speak about tread width and not as much about the sectional width.

thanks! So what I’m looking says “inflated width”. Would they be the same as tread width?

Yes. 8.9" is the same as the tread width posted on Falken's webpage for 275/60/20's. Section width is 10.8" when mounted on a 8" wide rim.
