Ah, I didn't realize the rings was a bolt on. I'm looking at the machined face version of the Nemesis.

Got to test out my new Trail Cepek EXPs in some nice sleet covered roads. They arent any worse than the C rated wranglers so far. They seem to slip a little on the sleet/ice/snow mix then grip hard. The wranglers would just keep slipping and slipping and slipping. Only 25 miles on the so far so we shall see!

These are definitely loud over 70mph. Not really happy about that. I can drown it out with the radio but you can still tell it's there. This is our road trip vehicle so I was hoping to avoid a lot of noise. It's not super mud terrain loud but it's annoying.

I took them on the interstate again today. My decibel meter on my phone says the noise is really about the same as my Goodyear's. Must just be the drone on them is different. Goodyear's had a wooshing noise these have the mud terrain type of noise just not even close to a mud terrain level.

Got my stock set sold so with that and rebate I'm in these tires for $564 installed tax and everything. Not too shabby!

Got another 10 inches of snow. I didn't get to drive in the full amount but a good 5 inch covered road that had been driven on but not plowed.

Deeper snow these tires are awesome. They won't get you anywhere in 2wd but in 4wd they did great on that sloppy covered road up hill.

Ice and hard packed snow they are not good but not horrible.

Road noise is still annoying. Not the level of it just the constant drone on the highway.

My mpg have gone down by 2mpg. Only had one tank so far so we will see. I did not adjust my speedometer. All the way up to 75 my truck and are exact. The needle is one mph above the GPS and digital speed like it has been since I bought the truck new.

My plan right now is to try and try sell these and go back to passenger rated tires. I think E load tires are just not for me. The extra weight and stiff ride over big bumps I really don't like.

These tires ride really smooth and and they look great. Over big bumps they are rough like most E load tires. Cons are they aren't 33 like listed on the dick Cepek website and noise on the highway is annoying too but I can turn the music up.

If I don't sell them in the next couple weeks I'll just adjust my speedo for the extra .50 inch height and worry about different tires in 45k miles.

^ the DC isn't a bad looking tire - just heavy like any "E" rated tire. Only E rated lighter tire I've seen are the newer Goodyear ultra-terrain ones. Your truck looks nice (:. I have the Nitto-P rated Ridge Grapplers. aggressive look, I think you considered them before.
They are extremely quiet, especially compared to duratracs. I have driven in rain/wet and heavy snow, so far performing and wearing great.
no complaints - 8000 miles mixed hwy/city/off road mud and snow so far. Also, I don't think any brand tire is a big as they say they are either.

I have 275/75r18 Cooper S/T Maxx on my truck and they handle well in ice/snow. They are little more noisy than my bfg ko2s, must be the same noise you have with your exps Steve. I'm comparing my ride quality going from a 275/55r20 bfg ko2 on an OEM wheel, but my coopers aren't nearly as choppy as the ko2s. Must be such a short that sidewall makes them feel choppy, but I'm surprised my coopers are smoother being load range E. I like the looks of the exps!

The road noise and how they handle hard packed snow are my only two real issues with the tire. The other things are all stuff I knew before hand going in to an E load tire. I just didn't think it would bother me as much as it does.

Considering I only have $564 in to these tires with install and tax after the rebate and selling my old tires I should probably just suck it up.

Another note, these tires did awesome in the rain and ice we had last night. I was really surprised how good in ice they were.

Do you have any sand bags in the bed? I put 300lbs in mine and it made a night and day difference in snow/ice handling. I have a 3.5 Ecoboost so the slight hum help covers up the v6 noise.
