Default Dick Cepek Trail Country EXP

Ordered some 286/65r18 Trail Country EXP tires today. Been racking my brain on what tires to get but these are the size I wanted and they are the only 285/65 I have found that is a true 33. I will post some reviews once I get them on. The way this winter is going I'll get some good snow and ice time on them.

not a terrible looking tire. I've been liking the look of the DC wheels and tires, but never tried them.

Should be good tires. Made by Cooper. Looks similar to the Discoverer S/T Maxx.

One of my buddies bought a truck with the S/T Maxx and they do really well in the snow and ice. If figured with the big blocky treads they wouldn't do as well.

Can't get much worse than the LT Wrangler Adventures I have now. One of the worst tires on wet roads I have ever used.

Sooooooo the website I ordered these through can't get them for 2-4 weeks . I'm going to drive 2.5 hours to a small shop and pick them up instead. I actually will get them cheaper now since there is a $100 rebate out there now.

Drove 5 ish hours round trip to get these tires. Drive back got interesting with some freezing rain. I actually got lucky with waiting until now since I get the 100 dollar rebate minus 40 bucks in gas. Before rebate I paid $189 per tire. After it's more like 164

So far the ride is no different than my C rated 275/65 Wranglers. They are already better on wet streets. They aren't louder. They do make a different sound but not any louder by my phone app sound meter.

Better pics to come after I get my wheel rings back on.

Only complaint so far is they are definitely not a true 33 like Dick Cepek says. At 38psi and ok the truck they measure about 31.75. My stock 275/65 we're about 31.25 on the truck.
