This should also work on 2017's where guys get the wrench icon on the cluster display. So if you have a '17 and want to test this out, pm me and if this procedure works I'll post the new version of FORScan publicly for everyone.

Note: This new function should not be run on any truck with a custom tune as it will screw up the Vehicle Identification Block so any custom tune would need to be removed first and then the tune could be put back on after this procedure is ran.
Is this a newer version from the last beta a few days ago?

It'd be fantastic if it works on an 11-14

Pm me your email address and I'll send it to you and you can look if it's listed for your year in the programming area (pic below). If not, you could email the FORScan developers and ask it be included for the 11-14s

I’m curious if this test has been successful with the beta build? I have a “17 myself and having the speedo off by ~7% is getting old especially when someone is driving. Given that HyperTech doesn’t seem to have a clue when/if they’ll address this just looking for options. Yes I know First World Problems.

No, this seems to have some issues so I'm trying to work with the FORScan developers and hopefully they'll come up with another version to try.

I have a 2017 XLT. Hypertech works great in mine...What problem are you getting with HT?

Do you have the 5.0 & 6 speed? HyperTech is (was) having trouble with the new 10 speeds cracking the code as they say. In April it was “soon” then in June it became “very soon” and here we sit in September. It’s too big a market for them to ignore especially since all 2018s except the 3.3L will have the 10 speed so I’m sure they’ll have it figured out soon enough.

They do offer the inline calibrator for the ‘17 w/10 speed but I’m not interested in cracking open the dashboard for that.
