Default Cheap Mud Tires

I am trying to get some mud tires for my 2011 xlt. I have 18 inch rims. Im in high school and not trying to spend too much on these tires. My truck is 2wd leveled. Im probably trying to get a 33 inch tire. Like I say they don't have to be name brand. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Any good mud tire isn't going to be cheap.. And any cheap mud tire isn't going to be good. ..

You can usually find a decently used set on Craigslist to get you by until you can buy new tires.

If I were you I would just save the cash and just get a good set of Nittos. You will thank me later.

We carry a Chinese brand, Giti Tire Ltd., there tires quite frankly are junk, but as far as Chinese tires go they are decent. They make a GT Adventuro MT and that's about as cheap as mud tires get. $135 for a LT285/75R16 only sold a few so idk how well they work but the rubber is pretty hard so they could possibly last a while. Just guessing though.

I would do as others recommended and save some coin for good tires or get an all terrain. You get what you pay for, especially with tires.

Like my dad always put it....don't buy cheap tires, it's the only thing that is between you and the road. With that being said if your on a budget Id go the route mentioned previous. Buy a quality used brand that u can maybe get 20000 or so out of. Craigslist is a great place to look.

Exactly, it's the most likely thing to fail that can cause an accident.

Teens are involved in an accident every 2 minutes due to tire related issues.

Craigslist. I got my current set of tires good year fierce attitude 35x12.5x17 with 70% tread for 400 bucks. Last set I had where 285/75/16 Toyo A/T's 90% tread for 300. Just make sure tread wear is even and you will be fine on used tires.

The exact language was "inexperienced drivers" but that's likely 99% teens.

Maxxis Buckshot's use to be a good tire for the price. I'm not a big Firestone fan but have heard good things about the Destination MT. Hercules makes a nice tire and is reasonably priced.
