I am following this. The 275/70r18's are only 50lbs. Interested how they do in winter.

Here is a new review on these. Tire racks review should be out any time. Stock 275/65r18 E Rated are only 48lbs. Watching for snow reviews. Will probably get new tires about a year from now.

I've sold a few sets of these and the owners are giving very good reviews. One guy even came back after a couple hours to tell me how good they were in the snow. They are a 60k tire and come with a 90 day buy & try!!
I'm replacing my Hankooks tomorrow with a set. If you are in MN hit me up for tires and I'll set up up!

Curious on the dimensional specs and weight for the LT285/65/18's. Tirerack data is lacking and I'm having a hard time believing the 50lb weight listed.

Interesting this thread has surfaced - as I want a bigger tire, for looks, but haven't liked the weight difference going to a 10 ply tire.
These tires are only about 10 pound heavier than stock, versus the normal 20 pounds weight difference per tire going to a 10 ply.
