Generally 4.56 and 35s are a good choice. Should be around the equivalent of a stock truck with 3:73.

Ok thanks thats what ive been reading. Now what if i were to do gears first? While running 31s for a little while? Or getting the 35s and running the 3.73? Which would be more ideal?

With stock value tires and 31's you will gain a boat load of torque transfer to the ground but suffer in highway MPG's greatly. I'm currently running a 35 on the stock 3.73's and am doing alright around town and on the highway. I would suggest tirees first.

Edit: I did not read that you had the 4.6 instead of the 5.4. You are definitely goin to want gears to go with those tires.

Do tires first. You may not feel the need for gears. I know it is ideal but I have personally never seen a lifted truck with oversize and a gear change. On the forums plenty but none of my trucks or any of my friends. Including a few of my friends who did a decent amout of towing. It is a 5.4 truck but one we lifted and put 37s on a 2010 for my previous boss and it has stock gearing. It also does a good deal of towing.

There is going to be some trimming involved with fitting 35's under a leveled truck
