My 2016 XLT SCREW 4x4 is stock suspension with 17 x 7.5 rims and +44 offset (factory). From what you have stated, it would appear that I could get a set of 295/70 r17 (33.3 x 11.6) tires on my truck without changing anything. Am I right in this assumption, or is the +44 offset bringing the tires in too close for them to fit without rubbing? I have seen a lot of people stating that they have installed 285/70 r17 tires on a stock 4x4 set-up, but I have not seen much mention of the 295's.

Can't help you KJT with size and offset, but I will offer up this to you. I have the Falken Wilpeaks 275x70x18 which is a 33" tire and I love them. Not too loud and ride great on offroad and interstate. I highly recommend them. Not to mention they look great.

This should help answer your questions - https://www.f150forum.com/f38/tire-w...9-newer-68155/
BTW - I've got a set of 315/70R17 BFG KO2's on my FX4 without a levelling kit & they don't rub at all. They're 34" in diameter.

I just put the 255/70x18s on my 17 RCSB today. This tire is 32.5" tall and my truck has a 3/4 lower on it. I drove the wheels off of the truck today and I have no rubbing at 3" down in the front. I think at stock height you should be fine with a 33.
