Default 20” wheel setups without trimming metal

I love a wide stance, but I cannot imagine myself cutting metal on a brand new truck! Lookin for ideas on 20” setups that don’t require metal trimming. If I have to trim some plastic, ok, but no metal

if your truck is stock height and you dont want to cut anything use a 20x9 wheel 0-25et will be fine .
if you have a lets say a level kit or about 4 inch lift you can do a 20x10 0 to -12 et
but for anything wider youll need a minimum 6" lift just to allow a 20x12 -44

Agreed I have 20x9's Fuel Tanks offset is +20 and they don't rub and I did not cut a thing on the truck. Picture attached.

Both posts above ASSUME stock tire size (275/55r20)

What wheel width & offset you can fit wholly depends on what tire size you intend to run and your truck's suspension (stock/level/lift?).

Not to hijack - but I'm planning on doing the bilsteins 5100 all around, with fronts set at 2.1" for a level. Then I'm planning on doing 33x12.5 rubber on 20x10 -12offset fuel mavericks.....I'd also like to do no trimming so to speak. should this work ok?

Confused as the guy up above who posted pics, said his offset was +20???? I thought the more negative offset, the more the wheels poke. His truck looks great.

btw - I have an 18 xlt screw.

Look at it like this, positive offset means you stick out negative is the opposite. At least that's what I think.

incorrect. A positive offset moves the mounting surface of the wheel towards the outer edge, meaning less or no lip and a more tucked in wheel. Negative offset brings the mounting surface towards the inner edge meaning more lip and in turn a wider stance, or sticking out

Learn something new everyday, I just checked again and my rims are +20 though. They are concave though which reading your post makes more sense now.

did you run this setup? 33x12.5x20 with a -12 offset on your 18 SCREW? If so how was the rubbing, trimming etc details?
