Ok I just got off the phone with Nav TV. The DSP is still a little way out from release. Now pricing. They didn’t give me an exact price because it hasn’t been firmed up at this time and “A few hundred dollars more” was said. He didn’t know exactly, but did say it wasn’t going to be double the price. Hopefully by the time I’m ready to order “Apr-May” it will be out. Till then I’ll just keep acquiring parts and save my $$

I hope that helps some of you on the fence about this.

Access also has an option in development and about to release to compete with that unit. The price point I was told was around half the cost.

I’ve looked into it and the MSRP of the unit is $509, but it doesn’t have enough channels. Looks to me like 5. I need to be able to control 9-10. That’s part of the reason the Bit One won’t work for me.

In your application, you really should go zen a2b> toslink> mini-dsp 8x12. There may not be a difference high level vs low level signal, but low level vs toslink is no comparison as far as signal quality goes. That's where the access unit loses its appeal. No digital output. It's 2019 lol.

That being said, if someone installing the unit wants to control 10 channels of output with an external dsp and doesn't care about digital output, you truly only need 2 channels of full range signal from one set of RCA's off the access unit to your dsp. Music is recorded left and right. There's no front, back, side, left of center, right of center, center. All of that is processing. Before processing it's left and right. In this case, the access unit is a great value with only a small degradation in signal. Not audibly noticeable. Then your dsp can process and split to as many channels as your dsp can handle.

To answer your question, the answer is yes but you have to build the harness yourself. Meaning you will have to solder on your speaker leads onto the zen harness can bus plug. Keep in mind that you will still have to run dedicated tweeter channels from your amp to your tweeters. The b&o system gets its tweeter signals from acm in the dash, not from the b&o amp. The red circles plug is the plug you need to strip the head shrink off of and solder on your speaker wires.

Any update on when the DSP update is being released? They had originally told me late 2018 and here we are in March 2019 with no sign of it.... Had I known, I would have gone a different direction. Here I am sitting with a big pile of parts and the only thing holding back my install is the DSP software...

But the unit, it's on sale right now for 550.00 I believe. Then grab a Dayton 408 dsp 150.00 and get your install going.

I paid $750 3 months ago! Makes me even more pissed at the delay.

A dsp can take years to develop. Look at mosconi and helix. I paid 750.00 as well, even though I knew I would be using a Helix DSP Pro MK2. The reason I bought the Zen is not for the dsp but because it provides the highest quality digital signal one can retrieve out of the oem headunit. As someone who is competing in SQ, this factor and having a tried and true dsp with a reputation and history was more important.

Ya, the unfortunate reality... I may just go with the new Zapco DSP if NavTV doesn't release their DSP software this month. That was my original plan, but thought I'd give them the benefit of the doubt and once again it bites me in the ***. Won't these companies ever learn??
