ls67, you've got me seriously considering going the component route and replacing the tweeters in my A Pillar.

Ill admit I didn't replace my tweeter. Too afraid to mod the door plug. So I mounted my tweeter up in the triangle part of the door panel. Looks fine. Sounds great. All I need to do now is swap out my A pillar covers if I REALLY want it to look good (to remove stock tweeter look).

Honestly, I really really wish I wouldvet've put these in all 4 doors. Can't justify spending the money now. If I could do it over again, Id get the JBLs. They seriously sound great and can handle the power from my amp without distorting (amp is a Sony XM GS400).

I purchased these same speakers from Crutchfield, they had a buy a pair get one pair free sale back in December 2014.
