I'm curious about the differences between 0900 3A and 0A00 3B. That's the only thing that doesn't match between our two trucks.

I did some experimenting today I changed my EQ setting to 0600 and the next two digits auto changed to 37 so now it is 727-01-02-0600-37.
The last 2 digits must be check sum corrections. Each time I change the EQ number the last 2 digits change. I wish I knew what 0-7 represented as far as EQ goes. As I increase the number it seems to add bass.

From what I can tell they're EQ settings and, 0900 is SuperCab with Kicker, 0A00 is SuperCrew with Kicker.

Which ones have you tried? I'm tempted to play with mine to see the differences. I suspected SuperCrew with Kicker might add a little bass or up the output because the sub is further away in that truck than mine.

And higher numbers have more bass?

There has to be something impacting the crossover too, since the kicker sub setting takes bass out of the door speakers.

I pulled some AsBuilt data and found this:

727-01-02 No Kicker Option
SCab - 0500
SCrew - 0600

727-01-02 Kicker Option
SCab - 0900
SCrew 0A00

Looks like 6 is what your truck would have been without the Kicker sub.

That makes sense. I noticed more base as the numbers went up. I need to spend some more time messing around with it. I like the sound of it now over using 0A00.

I changed mine to 0500 and it was way too much. I think the problem is you lose the crossover to the sub, so you get everything fed to that 8" driver and it makes things sound muffled. Even bumping treble up and bass down wasn't enough.

0A00 was really close to 0900, couldn't really tell the difference. I think I'm leaving it at the factory setting.

I put mine back to stock also 0A00. My hearing is on the decline, so I am not the best judge of what sounds best.
