Default 2019 XLT sync 3. Need better speakers

I guess i will upgrade the fronts first then back then possibly a sub if i think i need it. What door speakers do you guys recommend for a direct replacement. I’m really not wanting to add a amp and don’t want to dig behind the dash

Morel Tempo Ultra 602 6-1/2" component speaker system all day is my choice for a decent set of speakers. PM me for pricing.

Default Audio upgrade

I have the kicker VSS 8" powered sub and it adds just enough. Sounds a lot better than just stock.

Checkout crutchfield dot com website. Lots of product selection and great technical advice on product and installation. Can buy from them or use info and get elsewhere. Bought from them over the years and never been disappointed.

I bought 6X9 Morels (Tempo Ultra 692) and they are great speakers and with the adapter kit, they fix great. I would also hit Bruce up from Hush Audio, he will give you a good deal and beat Crutchfields price!

Do you have any input on them, or have you heard them? The rep actually said these would be pretty good speakers with just the factory deck, or with adding an amp. Naturally, until I add a sub, they’ll be brighter than the factory stuff, but they have a pretty good range across all types of music. I can’t recall a lot more specific than that, because I was looking into a bunch of other components and options too.

We’ll see, I suppose. I think I’m going to try them. I’d have to check back to my notes on what he recommended for the back doors.

I would leave the factory rears in place (then move the balance to the front of the truck) or combine the fronts and rears into the DSP, if you don't you will loose you backup chimes (beeping) as the sound is piped thru the rear speakers (at least on my 2017, found out the hard way. .
