F150 Sound System
I was looking at my truck the other day and have decided its time she got a sound upgrade. Now, its and Ext. Cab and the back seat is pretty much useless for me. And i was thinking of removing it and putting in a custom built box with at least 2 12'' Competition subs.
But i was curious if anyone here has added speakers and such to their truck. If you have lets hear what you have done to it.

i put some infinity speakers in the front doors if that does anything for you, lol
it would be easy to put some subs in ther, but have you ever consitered lifting the back seat a few inches, so you would be able to use it if you needed it, and then you would have plenty of space for a nice setup.

Actually that is the way its supposed to work. But with lifting the rear seat i am told that it would only hold 1 or 2 10'' subs. I want at least 12''s

I installed a Pioneer head unit with ipod adapter, and the following amp, box, and sub http://cgi.ebay.com/04-06-Ford-F150-...QQcmdZViewItem
It is not over powering and won't blow your windows out, but I have been told by others that it sounds like being at a concert when I crank it up. I love it!

Basically i plan to pull the back seat out and have a box built that will completly fill in the back. It will accomedate 3 12'' or 2 15'' subs and whatever else i need to make it sounds right. I also plan to upgrade the door speakers. I have not decided yet. I got estimates on the box and it will cost about 400-450 not counting the actual equipment.
