I was able to determine that the noise is coming from the head unit. I removed the amp and all the wiring and could still hear noise coming from the speakers. I just didn't hear it before because it was so quiet. Did anyone else that installed this setup (stock HU, Parrot Harness, Alpine KTP-445U) have noise issues when they were finished. Any ideas on reducing the noise from the HU? I removed the ground from the parrot harness and ran a new one from the HU strait to the chassis using 12GA wire in a few different spots, and didn't see any improvement.

I know this is an older thread guys, but I'm hoping you guys are still lurking. I have a question I didn't see you guys talk about in this thread. Did you change the truck settings in Forscan to the Variable line level preamp outputs too?

My story...
I have a 2015 Lariat super crew (Screw) 2.7l Ecoboost with 8" Sync 2 (My FordTouch) 7 speaker that was stock without the Kicker sub. I added the Kicker sub/amp combo (special Kicker package for Ecoboost auto shutoff with only 100w amp instead of 200w amp.) about a year ago, enabled it etc. Its been great. And at the same time I replaced the front door speakers with Polk DB+ 6x9 and rear door with Polk DB+ 6.5. I recently discovered that my center speaker wasn't enabled. I also don't think my a-pillar tweeters were firing either. I fixed this with Forscan now. But now I'm not liking the equalizer at all. I'm going to keep trying different EQ settings in Forscan, or trying flipping to the "6 speaker crew cab" and see if its better, or go back to "Kicker/Subwoofer Selection "error"" and no front tweeters, because it sounded a million times better on the low end.

Most importantly though, I want to add an amp for door speakers. I get I need the Parrot FOR-11CK harness. Already ordered. I was thinking about the new Kicker Key.180.4. Its small like the Alpine KTP-445U, but has an EQ built in, and a million features including playing nice with Engine auto shutoff. I'm on the same page for everything with an amp install I believe. Parrot harness, amp can be wired from existing HU power or straight from battery, but I'm just not sure on the Forscan settings when its all done. Did you guys enable Varible Line Level Preamp Outputs from the ACM? Thanks for help in advance guys!

From FORScan Spreadsheet:
Variable Line Level Preamp Outputs From ACM (for adding aftermarket amp without sound clipping)
ACM 727-01-01 xx5A xxxx xxxx See DanMc85's post here for a write-up on this
ACM 727-01-02 00xx xxxx xxxx
APIM 7D0-01-01 2xxx xxxx xxxx <--- this change required only if you have Sony DSP
--------------------------------------------------------------

PS.
Idk if you guys have seen the latest FORScan spreadsheet. Its really comprehensive now compared to even just last year. Link: FORScan F150 2015+

I have a question about those two strings. Wouldn't modifying just ACM 727-01-02 00xx xxxx xxxx (disable EQ) and leaving the rest as high-levels if going into something like a DSR1 or really anything with a high level remote turn on (your KTP-445) be the best of both worlds? Removes the bass roll off and gives you a remote turn on source. Also the DSR1 has a remote out so anything after it could be piggy backed off that no more looking for a post ignition 12v.

FOR-11CK is available on Amazon and eBay.

WORKS WITH ALL Factory radios including the Sony Radio with factory amp, steering wheel controls also work if available.
There was instructions that you could not use the FOR-11CK with the Sony amplified system when installing a Bluetooth car kit, but that is not the case when installing an amplifier.

Note: On some Fords, It is possible you could use the EXP-1A harness which would work the same exact way as the FOR-11CK, Ford used the older radios in newer Fords when in particular it was a transition year. For example: 2014 uses the EXP-1A, the 2015 should use the FOR-11CK, but some 2015's and sometimes (rare) newer Fords will use the older radio.

If anyone is interested, I have one for sale. Perfect condition and has about 8 inches of speedwire attached to one end of the harness. It was wrapped in tessa/friction tape to make it look OEM. PM me if anyone is interested, I'm selling way below retail. I'll post a forsale thread on the classifieds.

I would guess he want to keep the dash looking stock. Also there isn't a aftermarket HU mount for the 8"
