Default Will Maestro HU replacement void extended warranty?

I want to replace my 2013 4.2 radio with the Maestro solution and a jvc apple carplay reciever. I see that it requires splicing a wire to retain some of the current features and was wondering if this would void my extended bumper to bumper warranty as far as other items besides the radio?

Default Warranty

I am a claims Adjuster for Master Tech contracts. If you buy the correct wiring installation kit you should be OK, obviously the service contract will not cover any aftermarket parts. If you screw up the wiring and it damages something else it will not cover that failure do to improper installation/repair. What you need to do is call the company your service plan is through and ask them. Depending on what level coverage you have it may not cover wiring any way.
