Default Where to connect amp outs to speakers?

Okay, I bought a PAC AOEM-FRD24 and I am connecting the RCAs to a 5 channel amp. I'm going to install new speakers and would like to minimize the amount of rewiring I have to do. Where is the best place to attach the amp outputs to power the speakers (the front with pillar tweets and rears). I have heard reference to splicing into the PAC wiring harness, but has anyone actually done that? Anyone got a diagram? Is there a better place to intercept the speaker wires?
In the PAC wiring diagram the 4 speaker wires go to the HU, PAC, then Factory Amp, so I do I just disconnect the factory amp side and connect my amps outs to the wires going to the PAC and HU?
