where is the Amp'
Where would I find the audio Amp some of these '95 F150 trucks where equipped with. I don't know if this truck has one, it doesn't matter either way as I don't plan on using it. I just need to know where to look when I tie in the wiring harness for my new Pioneer radio which if it is there will by pass it. The truck in Question is listed below. :)

It is above the gas pedal. You can unplug it and pull the output wires towards the radio opening and bypass the amp that way.

Thank you, I suspect I may have an amp. I will install my new radio tomorrow. Soldered up the wiring harness I found the power plug matches perfectly, however the audio plug does not match what I have up where the radio is located. this leads me to think I have amp. If push comes to shove I'll just lay down some new speaker wires.

Yes there is a Amp, flat box with a blue plastic cover above the fuel peddle. I am just going to leave it in place for now.

Glad you found it. If you need the harness to bypass the amp let me know.

yup.. i was about to say they hide em under the dash near the radio to save cost of wire.

They actually are not near the radio quite often. On Rangers they can be in the kick panel, below a seat, or even near the right rear speaker. Most Ford passenger cars have their amp on the rear deck, rear fenderwell, back of the back seat or any other spot in the rear of the car.
