Why won't they work in the factory location? If they are bigger then the factory just make the hole bigger.

Size of the factory tweeter isn't the problem. Simcha there tuned for a certain frequency, I've heard you don't want them to far from the speaker itself or to high above the woofer. Not sure if this is true, but been doing quite a bit of research and everybody has different experience with them. Kinda new to aftermarket speakers, so not sure who to believe.

You shouldn't have any problems making a set of component's fit. You can always buy or make baffles/spacers to fit your application. Most component sets are mad so the tweeter can be placed on axis with the listener(doesn't have to be a certain ft from the woofer). This is what time alignment and crossover settings are for. If the staging is off (step up or step down a slope (-3db's)). Which i think the most of focal's have.

Here's what I've got. Just waiting on my box to come in tomorrow, and then I'll be installing
4 Polk audio db571 Coax
2 JL 10W0v3
Kenwood KAC-7005PS
Fox Box Dual 10"
EFX amp wiring kit

I'm a little nervous about doing the install myself, but I'm going to attempt it.

Finished it all yesterday! I'm more than happy with everything. I installed it all myself with the help of my dad. It was a first for both of us, but it was pretty painless. I'm very impressed so far, just time to break in the subs
