HILARIOUS... double double double = gobble gobble gobble.I know Im showing up to this thread a day short and a dollar late, but I always think its better to buy more power. IMHO, amps should be ran somewhere between 25 - 75% of the Gain's ability.
Lets say you by an amp that runs the 100x4 @ 75/80% of the amp's ability. It may work great/perfect/fantastical now, but in the future you might wanna change things around. Get something different. Sell to your brother. Install 6 - 15s in your wife's Passat. Anything. The amp you are using to max out some door speakers could be inadequate for a future set up. Thus limiting your ability to build another system in the future.
With this said, please keep in mind that common sense should take precedence over this comment. Meaning, if financially it doesnt make sence, physical constraints, or itll be a porno's chance in heaven that you sell your truck and/or piece out the system.

i see what you mean but whats in my mind is just amping the 4 5x7s and then mayb in the future running the rears off the HU and fronts off the amp and some additional 6x9s off the amps but idek if that will happer! is im still stuck in a bubble to either buy the amp or buy a sub and mono amp nxt idk!!!!
