What are some good options for 6x8's if I power them with an amp? I just bought a 2011 scab and the speakers are horrific! Should I go components? I will be using an old 2 channel 420 watt boss amp, the guys at my local audio shop said it would be fine.

I have those speakers running off the deck. I'm going to put a Boston acoustic gt-42 on them when I complete my box for a kicker 08s15l74. How do you like the way they sound?
