Just make sure you connect the remote wire. In the ktp-445 thread they did not connect it. Took me a few minutes to figure that out.

Zxlr88,

You mean the remote wire coming off the PAC unit for the subs? That power is supplied straight from the adapter correct?

Yes. It comes from the harness in the truck to the PAC and through the Alpine to the head unit.

Forgive my ignorance...but you installed the pac, the alpine ktp-445. All with your stock HU?

Yes, I changed out the speakers to Boston Acoustic components and then added the Alpine along with the harness. I bought the supercrew box and 2 JLAudio 10w0v3-4. I also bought a Rockford Fosgate 500 watt amp to fire them. The sound is honestly so much better and as a bonus the backseat doubles as a massage chair.

Hahahaha!! Awesome! So the alpine powers your door speakers? And the rockford your subs? I just want my speakers to be better, I replaced them all with pioneers, but they could still be better. I read online about the alpine power pack, that its supposed to work with alpine head units. I was curious because its in my price range.

FYI - I looked at the PAC website, and as of today they show 2011 and 2012 F150's being compatible. It shows the last update made was today, so they could have just added the last 2 years.

I have a 2010 screw and the PAC f24 doesn't plug into my stock harness wtf? I had the alpine power pack installed inline with the Metra harness and the PAC plugged into that fine, but when I tried it, all I could hear was bass and no music out of the door speakers. Anyone know what could be causing this??

Dude...man....you're still having this problem huh? I see you posting all over the place, I feel wicked bad.

Post a pic of the harness. Mine plugged right in, maybe yours isn't the right one?

Mine looks like this (except I cut the lineout converter off)

Lol yea man it is the same thing. I don't know why it doesnt fit in the factory harness?? I think the inside of the PAC harness has something in it to stop it from plugging into the factory harness
