Okay, gotta regroup and ask this because I've read the WHOLE thread but still can't find what I'm looking for...
I have only basic electrical skills. If the instructions are clear and the task simple, I'm good. So the AOEM-FRD24 looks good. But I just need to clarify one thing: If I don't plan on running a sub, and simply want to upgrade my sound quality, how do I do this by using the AOEM and new door speakers? I know how to swap out the speakers, but what happens with the Amp? It looks like the AOEM module simply "plugs and plays" but where I get confused is how the "amped" sound gets back to the speakers. Do I run wires from the AOEM back to the door speakers? Or does the AOEM wired to the amp already connect to them?
SOrry, this seams remedial but I just haven't seen it clearly spelled out yet. OH, I have a 2011 XLT Screw with SYNC and base HU.

I remember i cut off the line out converter. Then wired the 445u power pack(idk if that's what you're using) into the PAC, by simply matching the wire colors. Just be sure you have the input and output on the right sides of the amp, and PAC harness. Then it just plugs and plays.
Hope that helps

Then run new speaker wire from the amp to the doors for the new speakers.
Very simple install, unless you have Molex connectors!
