Last thing I'd want to know is if the JL RBC-1 will work with my amp. Are those things universal?

What amp? If not JL then get a universal one with 2 RCAs in and 2 RCAs Out

The part showed up and works fine. I ended up keeping my sub control **** where it was. It's amazing how poor the sound quality is from the stock when you are used to aftermarket. My amp and sub are both from power bass.

Howdy everyone. I'm trying to understand whether or not the PAC FRD 24 truly gets a full-range signal to the Front RCA pair.

My 2012 SCREW XLT has the standard headunit with Sync, but no Sony amp/sub & no Nav. However, it does have factory A-pillar tweeters. I believe there is crossover built into my factory headunit sending the high signal to my tweeters and the low-mid signal to my doors. Does anyone know if the PAC is configured to capture boththe high "tweeter" signal and the low-mid "door speaker" signal in the Front RCA pair? Or will the Front RCA pair only be sending a low-mid range signal to my amp?

Info on my setup in case it helps:
I used the PAC to add a mono amp and a single 10" sub to my factory system a year ago---running the PAC's Rear RCA pair to my amp (which worked great). But now I'm addicted so I'm upgrading the factory speakers and adding power. I'm going to replace the mono amp with a 5 channel (Kenwood Excelon XR900-5 with 3 RCA inputs: Front, Rear & Sub). The new 5 channel amp will run my existing Pioneer 10" shallow-mount Sub, plus a set of JL Audio Components in the Font and JL Audio Coaxials in the Rear. I'm keeping the factory headunit, because I want everything to look/feel stock.

My wiring plan for the new speakers & amp:
Front 6.5s/Tweeters: PAC Front RCA pair to amp's Front RCA input. Font speaker output to JL Audio crossover, then direct from crossover to JL Audio 6.5s in front doors & JL Audio tweeters in A-Pillar.
Rear Coaxials/Sub: PAC Rear RCA pair to amp using RCA Y-cable to split into the amp's separate Rear and Sub RCA inputs. Rear speaker output direct to JL Audio coaxials in rear doors, Sub speaker output direct to 10" Pioneer Sub under rear seat.

There is not a crossover in the HU for the tweeters/door speakers. Full range to the door and then a CAP on the tweeter blocking low signals

Default Can’t seem to find answer.

Hello, my name is Dominic. I’m looking for a little bit of information from you more experienced installers. I have the PAC AOEM FRD24 but do not have any instructions. I understand that this unit plugs into the factory wiring harness somewhere. It then gives me two sets of RCA wires that I can use for signal to my sub amp. I am looking to find out where (specifically) the pac harness plugs into my factory harness. I do not know the specific location where this connection needs to be made. I’m sure there are hundreds of people on this thread that have installed this PAC with great success. Can you please help me out with maybe some pictures or a link to the instructions or a wiring diagram. I want to keep my factory head unit and factory door speakers and just want to add 2 subwoofers and an amp I’ve already installed under my backseats. All I need to do now is install the PAC to power my RCA’s. You guys are great and I love these forums. This is my first post ever. Help me learn. Thanks guys n gals
