Tweeter in A pillars

Tweeter in A pillars
Just wanted to throw out a nice tip to those installing Components in their trucks.
I just finished installing Polk Components in the front doors of my '15 XLT. They sound great & I can't wait to hook up my Alpine power pack to them. Anyway, I know it's a PIA to mount tweeters in the A pillars so I figured I would show you guys what I did. I made a bracket out of a piece of drywall cornerbead that I had laying around the garage & it worked great. IMO the Universal Back Strap that crutchfield sells is too heavy of a gauge for this application. Cornerbead is thin & can be manipulated much easier.
Just my $.02
& thank all of you for the info in this forum that helped me along the way ! Great community

I know it looks cheap but it's hidden behind the pillar & it works. I mounted the crossovers in the door panel. I know that's another no no but I really didn't want to fish 2 wires through the boot cuz I had enough trouble with the one. It's hard to explain but I used Velcro strips to mount it to the speaker side of the door handle. There was a big enough space in the area in the pic below
